Rachlin

Jeff Rachlin asks his son Eli why nature is important.

Jeff_Rachlin_and_sonsJeff R: Why do you think, Eli, that nature is so important to us.

ER: Nature is important because if we had nothing to explore, nothing to learn, how would these great scientists throughout the world have known so much stuff about newts and all the wildlife we have today, and if there were no such thing as the mountains or the beach or anything except your house, and then when you just walk through the world and it was just sky and land and all you had was your house, how would that make life interesting?
