Project Leaders are engaged citizens and scientists who collect data on box turtles at specific sites around North Carolina. These individuals make a long term commitment, attend training, keep detailed records, and enter the data into an online database punctually.

An online database developed by the Davidson College Herpetology Lab. Anyone can enter data as well as see data on the distribution of reptiles and amphibians of North and South Carolina. - PAWS (Portal Access to Wildlife Systems)
