The HERP Project has four threads including residential summer science programs for high school students and teachers, called Herpetological Research Experiences or HREs. The purpose of HREs is to expose participants to ecological fieldwork by engaging in a variety of field science projects related to local reptile and amphibian species. As part of the evaluation of students’ experience at HRE’s, students completed a survey at the end of the HRE experience that asked about the impact of their experience.
