“We did a lot of camping because it’s a good cheap way to take a vacation with a couple of kids!”
“But I think that helps with the comfort level, too, with nature. That to be in it as early as you can, I think we tried to do that with our kids. And our kids have tried to do that with our grandkids, get them out into the nature as quick as possible and learn about spiders and snakes and mushrooms and plants of all kinds. And it’s working. We’ve got a seven-year-old, almost, and a four year-old that can tell you all about the kinds of spiders and how much rain it’s rained in the last week because they have a rain gauge.”
